Planning Underway for Washoe County Keystone Bridge Replacement Project

The Keystone Bridge Replacement Project in Reno, Nevada will replace the structurally deficient bridge and improve multi-modal circulation within the corridor. Parametrix was selected in January 2023 by the Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County to provide engineering and environmental services for the project. Initial tasks include public involvement, conceptual development, study of alternatives, environmental support, and funding support.Planning has begun with construction anticipated in 2027. The project is funded in part by the Federal Bridge Formula Program in partnership with the Nevada Department of Transportation. Teaming partners on the project include NCE, TYLin, Headway, Kleinfelder, and Taylor Made Solutions.
